Fall
Farm Tours:
This is by far the best way to come and see the bison up close.
The calves will still be nursing, and the whole herd will be around
for your enjoyment!
We will begin our season of wagon rides on Sunday, September 28.
Your whole family will be given a FREE guided tour of our farm
with a visit to our pumpkin patch.
When you return from your tour, we’ll have bison burgers
and franks ready for lunch.
It’s a great and inexpensive way to spend an afternoon with
your family.
FREE Hayride Tours run Saturday and Sunday until October
26 from 10:00 to 4:00.
Fall
Class trips:
Let your teacher in on the best kept secret in town! We give guided
tours for children of all ages.
We
can be reached at 908-806-0030 or erick@njbison.com
if you’d like to make a reservation.
Bison
Roundup!!
Sunday, November 2, beginning around 8:00 AM.
Now, this is the most exciting day of the year! We run all of
our bison through our handling system to give them their allotment
of medicine, ear tags, and winter grazing assignments. This year,
we’ve purchased nineteen new brood cows, and we’ll
be meeting them up close for the first time. This is an interactive
spectator event, where everybody can help ‘chase’
the bison (from a very safe distance) into their winter pasture.
Volunteers for hands-on positions are currently on a wait list.
