Buffalo
Watch 2009
Saturday, May 23
10 AM to 5 PM
It’s
our biggest day of the year. This is a fund raising event to benefit
the Whitehouse Rescue Squad.
We open up the alleys in between the pastures to give our visitors
ample access to the view of our herds.
Calving season will be in full swing, and chances of seeing a
live birth are optimal, but not guaranteed
(you’d be surprised at how may people ask where the calf
is being born).
The squad members cook up lunch, give wagon rides, and provide
all sorts of amusements.
Admission, parking, tours, and demonstrations are all free.
This event is far and away our biggest day of the year.
Held in concert with the Whitehouse Rescue Squad, we invite you
to visit our farm for a full day of activities.
We have walking tours running continuously, and local naturalists
will be showing off their skills.
The full line up of demonstrations has not been finalized, but
it gets bigger every year.
Parking is FREE, tours are FREE,
and admission is FREE. This truly is a perfect
event to bring the whole family.
A portion of certain activites and all concession profits go directly
to the rescue squad.
Most areas are wheelchair accessible. Appropriate footwear is
essential.
